I had an uncle that published a book of Haiku before he died. For those who don't know what Haiku is, it's a Japanese form of poetry. The whole thing consists of 17 syllables. 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second and five in the third. Long ago, I tried my hand at Haiku and got hooked. It wasn't until now that I remembered why I liked it so much. Short, sweet and to the point.
I know I should but I can't.
I'm in too deep now.
I wrote that a little less than a year ago. Some of you will know what the story is behind it. Not something I'm proud of, but certainly nothing that will leave my mind anytime soon.
